PRESS RELEASE (33) DVSC OPENS ITS 2021-22 WELSH CHURCH ACT GRANT

Ruthin – 6 September 2021 - DVSC is pleased to open its 2021-22 Welsh Church Act Fund. We have just over £9,000 to distribute for Voluntary and Community Groups, Third Sector Organisations and social enterprises in Denbighshire to initiate community led activities in their local communities in Denbighshire.
The Welsh Church Acts Fund provides support to voluntary and community groups whilst also inviting applications that are community focused and maximise public benefit and the wellbeing of communities in Denbighshire.
Grants of up to £500 are available for local constituted organisations (including registered charities, charitable incorporated organisations, community groups who have been constituted for more than 6 months, parish or community councils, community interest companies, social enterprises, and uniformed groups). Other entities can be considered at the discretion of our volunteer led Grant Panel.
The grant priorities this year will be:
1. Relating to or based in church run premises
2. On the theme of dementia
3. On the theme of loneliness and isolation
4. Promotes wellbeing
5. Supporting people with learning disabilities
6. Volunteer community activity
“Local community groups have played a key role in the past year as the whole country was overcoming the many problems that covid caused. We would like to recognise the good work of the community and support these groups as much as possible to continue the work they do in the local area” explained Rhys Hughes, Enterprise & Learning Officer, DVSC.
We are operating a rapid grant decision-making process with applications being considered on a rolling basis until funds are disbursed. You will hear from us within 14 days of submission if your application has been successful. Apply as soon as possible to ensure your initiative or project receives funding!

Rhuthun - 6 Medi 2021 - Mae CGGSDd yn falch o agor ei Gronfa Deddf Eglwysi Cymru 2021-22. Mae gennym ychydig dros £9,000 i'w ddosbarthu ar gyfer Grwpiau Gwirfoddol a Chymunedol, Sefydliadau Trydydd Sector a Mentrau Cymdeithasol yn Sir Ddinbych i gychwyn gweithgareddau a arweinir gan y gymuned yn eu cymunedau lleol yn Sir Ddinbych.
Mae Cronfa Deddf Eglwysi Cymru yn darparu cefnogaeth i grwpiau gwirfoddol a chymunedol tra hefyd yn gwahodd ceisiadau sy'n canolbwyntio ar y gymuned ac sy'n sicrhau'r budd mwyaf i'r cyhoedd a lles cymunedau yn Sir Ddinbych.
Mae grantiau o hyd at £500 ar gael ar gyfer sefydliadau cyfansoddiadol lleol (gan gynnwys elusennau cofrestredig, sefydliadau corfforedig elusennol, grwpiau cymunedol sydd wedi'u cyfansoddi am fwy na 6 mis, cynghorau plwyf neu gymuned, cwmnïau budd cymunedol, mentrau cymdeithasol, a grwpiau mewn lifrai). Gellir ystyried endidau eraill yn ôl disgresiwn ein Panel Grantiau dan arweiniad gwirfoddolwyr.
Y blaenoriaethau grant eleni fydd:
1. Yn ymwneud â neu wedi'i leoli mewn adeilad eglwysig
2. Ar thema dementia
3. Ar thema unigrwydd ac arwahanrwydd
4. Yn hyrwyddo lles
5. Cefnogi pobl ag anableddau dysgu
6. Gweithgaredd cymunedol gwirfoddol
“Mae grwpiau cymunedol lleol wedi chwarae rhan allweddol yn ystod y flwyddyn ddiwethaf gan fod y wlad gyfan yn goresgyn y llu o broblemau a achosodd covid. Hoffem gydnabod gwaith da'r gymuned a chefnogi'r grwpiau hyn gymaint â phosibl i barhau â'r gwaith maen nhw'n ei wneud yn yr ardal leol ”esboniodd Rhys Hughes, Swyddog Menter a Dysgu, CGGSDd.
Rydym yn gweithredu proses benderfynu grantiau cyflym gyda cheisiadau yn cael eu hystyried ar sail dreigl nes bod cronfeydd yn cael eu talu. Byddwch yn clywed gennym o fewn 14 diwrnod i'w gyflwyno os yw'ch cais wedi bod yn llwyddiannus. Gwnewch gais cyn gynted â phosibl i sicrhau bod eich menter neu brosiect yn derbyn cyllid!

Manylion am Gyngor Gwasanaethau Gwirfoddol Sir Ddinbych (CGGSDd)
Cenhadaeth Cyngor Gwasanaethau Gwirfoddol Sir Ddinbych yw adeiladu cymunedau cydnerth trwy weithredu gwirfoddol a menter gymdeithasol, darparu cefnogaeth ragorol i randaliad, a bod yn llais dylanwadol yn Sir Ddinbych a Gogledd Cymru.
CGGSDd yw'r corff aelodaeth ar gyfer gwirfoddolwyr, grwpiau gwirfoddol a chymunedol, sefydliadau trydydd sector a mentrau cymdeithasol yn Sir Ddinbych.
Mae CGGSDd yn gweithio'n agos gyda CGSs Gogledd Cymru, ac mae'n aelod o'r rhwydwaith o CGSs ledled Cymru sydd, mewn partneriaeth â Chyngor Cymdeithasau Gwirfoddol Cymru (WCVA) yn ffurfio'r bartneriaeth sy'n rhan o Gymorth Trydydd Sector Cymru.
Yn ogystal â chysylltu gwirfoddolwyr a sefydliadau gwirfoddoli â'i gilydd, mae CGGSDd yn cynnig cefnogaeth a chyfleoedd rhwydweithio gwerthfawr. Mae gwasanaethau cymorth sector CGGSDd yn darparu gwybodaeth a chyngor ar gyfleoedd cyllido perthnasol, cynigion hyfforddi ac arfer gorau llywodraethu.
