SERVICES FOR PARTNERS

We can offer a range of services to partners to support the wellbeing agenda and help you meet your goals.

We currently have service level agreements with Betsi Cadwaladr University Heath Board, who fund us as the membership body for the third sector in Denbighshire to deliver health,  social care and wellbeing engagement activities with and on behalf of the third sector and Denbighshire County Council to provide Community Support Services.

With greater sharing of resources, we could do much more.

We are keen to secure more service level agreements with partners to manage volunteer placements, as one pathway to enhanced self esteem and wellbeing particularly for individuals who need more personalised support and to facilitate community based wellbeing services and activities.

We also run highly effective fund management and distribution programmes underpinned by dynamic public engagement campaigns and initiatives. This includes our call out to recruit Wellbeing Ambassadors alongside our #Ageing Well Denbighshire campaign, #Autism Aware Denbighshire, and #Dementia Friendly Denbighshire activities.

In the last  two years we have worked with the North Wales Regional Collaborative, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and Denbighshire County Council and most recently the North Wales Integrated Autism service distributing funding to third sector initiatives underpinned by engagement campaigns.

As the membership body for the third sector, we are the ideal partner for coordinating and facilitating third sector social prescribing initiatives and activities from our base in Ruthin, where we also deliver community focussed services for individuals that enhance wellbeing and where our members provide activities that enhance mental and physical wellbeing.

BECOME A SUPPORTER

Hello again … … today we have a small favour to ask. Volunteers, voluntary and community action and the third sector are at the heart of building more sustainable and resilient communities and we need them more than ever.

DVSC receives core funding from the Welsh Government but we need to raise more money so that we can continue to provide excellent sector support - whether you're a volunteer,  voluntary and community group or a third sector organisation.

We can provide a wealth of information and resources and we want to keep our services as accessible as we can, and to reach as many groups as we can.  So we think it’s fair to ask people who visit us often for their help - if they feel able to give it.

Our Sector Support service is resource intensive, but we are investing in it because we believe providing support to volunteers, voluntary and community groups, charities, social enterprises and community interest companies - has to be at the heart of what we do. If you like what we are about, and you want to help support it, our future would be much more secure.
