The National Lottery is accepting applications again for grants
The National Lottery Heritage Fund in Wales funds projects that connect people of all backgrounds, generations and communities to their national and local heritage.
Heritage is for everyone and we are committed to supporting Wales’ rich and diverse heritage sector, not-for-profit, public sector organisations and local authorities through the continuing COVID-19 crisis.
As part of this ongoing commitment, The National Lottery Heritage Fund in Wales has reopened its funding grants programme for heritage projects.
We’re accepting applications again for grants from organisations who work with heritage to build their resilience so that they can adapt and respond to the changing environment they are now operating in.
It’s important that our heritage reflects the diversity and make-up of society and encompasses people from different age groups and religious beliefs, ethnic minorities, LGBT+ communities and disabled people.
As such, we would welcome grant applications from groups to focus on this diversity through projects such as exploring different generations, communities and their history, youth-led history focused projects or sharing LGBT+ heritage.
Heritage has a critical role to play in helping people, communities and places through the COVID-19 crisis and we will do everything we can to help Wales’ heritage sector and communities to survive this difficult time and thrive again thanks to National Lottery players.
