Investing through lockdown - social entrepeneurship, grants & funding / Buddsoddi trwy'r cyf
[Please scroll down for Welsh]
Living through the 2020 Lockdown has shone a bright light on the excellent work of social entrepreneurs, charities and voluntary sector organisations across Wales. Many are offering services and support that are proving to be critical during the #COVID19 pandemic, reaching people and communities who very often slip through the net or go unseen.
Right now, many front-line organisations face severe constraints. Decades of work in the impact sector are at stake. Social entrepreneurs are battling at the forefront of this pandemic to serve the most vulnerable using their ingenuity to confront the problems on the ground.
DVSC is no exception.
We are working hard to help build resilience and lay the foundations for recovery though #COVID19. Our business is community business, innovating and enabling positive change through incubation, acceleration and peer support.
We work collaboratively with our service users, so we can share our knowledge and expertise, whilst building resilience, adapting and innovating our services to promote business continuity and sustainability.
We offer a portfolio of specialist support for funding, managing change, strategy, business development and learning opportunities, all of which can be accessed through our bilingual Community Support Service.
We launched our online chat on 1st April and continue to provide support via telephone and digital channels. We have taken our networking and learning proposition online and continue to work in partnership with a range of national and local organisations to create enterprising local solutions and support positive change.
