DVSC Grant News - Denbighshire Welsh Church Acts Fund 2019-20 / Cronfa Deddf Eglwysi Cymru Sir Ddinb

Grants of up to £500 are available for Voluntary and Community Groups, Third Sector Organisations and social enterprises in Denbighshire to initiate community led activities in their local communities in Denbighshire.

Grants are available under the following themes:

  • Relating to or based in church run premises - in keeping with the investment source of the fund;

  • On the theme of (mitigating the impact of) dementia (on those with lived experience, their carers and support groups) – while a specific diagnosis is not required for every participant a ‘token’ representation would not be acceptable;

  • On the theme of loneliness and isolation – older people and people with a disability are most prone to be in such circumstances but other groups should not be discounted, e.g. young carers;

  • Promotes wellbeing (being aware, connecting, exercising, learning, giving back) – the 5 Ways to Wellbeing is a widely recognised approach – projects may incorporate all five elements, some or might focus on one element for their project;

  • Supporting people with learning disabilities – offering new experiences and stimuli, as well as integration/participation in mainstream activities

The application deadline is 5pm on 30/06/19

The grant must be spent by 28/02/20, and the monitoring report must be completed and returned by 20/03/20.

If you require additional funding for your project/activity, you may be eligible for the Dementia Aware Community Led grant which would allow you to apply for up to a further £1,000. Click here to find out more.

Mae grantiau o hyd at £500 ar gael i Grwpiau Gwirfoddol a Chymunedol, Mudiadau Trydydd Sector a mentrau cymdeithasol yn Sir Ddinbych i ysgogi gweithgareddau dan arweiniad y gymuned yn eu cymunedau lleol yn Sir Ddinbych.

Mae grantiau ar gael o dan y themâu canlynol:

  • Prosiectau;’n ymwneud â neu wedi eu lleoli mewn lleoliadau a gynhelir gan eglwys – yn unol â ffynhonnell fuddsoddi’r gronfa;

  • Ar thema (lleddfu effaith) dementia (ar y rhai sydd â phrofiad byw, eu gofalwyr a grwpiau cymorth) – er nad oes angen diagnosis penodol ar gyfer pob cyfranogydd ni fyddai cynrychiolaeth ‘ddangosol’ yn unig yn dderbyniol;

  • Ar thema unigrwydd ac arunigedd – pobl hŷn a’r anabl sydd fwyaf tebygol o fod mewn amgylchiadau o’r fath ond ni ddylid anwybyddu grwpiau eraill e.e. gofalwyr ifanc;

  • Yn hybu lles (bod yn ymwybodol, cysylltu, ymarfer corff, dysgu, rhoi yn ôl) – mae’r Pum Ffordd at Les yn ddull a gydnabyddir yn eang – gall prosiectau gynnwys y pum elfen, neu efallai y bydd rhai yn canolbwyntio ar un elfen ar gyfer eu prosiect;

  • Cefnogi pobl ag anableddau dysgu – cynnig profiadau a symbyliadau newydd, yn ogystal ag integreiddio/cymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau prif ffrwd.

Y dyddiad cau ar gyfer cais am grant yw 5pm ar 30/06/19.

Rhaid gwario’r cyllid grant erbyn 28/02/20, a rhaid cwblhau a dychwelyd yr adroddiad monitro erbyn 20/03/20.

Os oes angen cyllid ychwanegol arnoch ar gyfer eich prosiect / gweithgaredd, efallai y byddwch yn gymwys i gael Grant Dementia Ymwybodol a fyddai'n eich galluogi i wneud cais am hyd at £1,000 pellach. Cliciwch yma i gael gwybod mwy.

Os hoffech gael rhagor o wybodaeth cysylltwch gyda: sectorsupport@dvsc.co.uk neu ffonio 01824 702 441 a gofyn am Lisa Williams. Mae’r Ffurflen Gais ar gael yma
