ACT – Action Counter Terrorism Awareness training
Tuesday 6th November 10am – 12pm @ Naylor Leyland Centre, Well Street, Ruthin, LL15 11AF
Communities defeat terrorism. With the enduring terrorist threat, it is now more important than ever that everyone plays their part in tackling terrorism.
The aim of ACT is to:
Help understand the threat from terrorism to the UK
Guide individuals on what to do if they find themselves involved in a terrorist incident or events that lead up to a planned attack
Enable people to recognise and report suspicious activity
The FREE ACT training is presented by a Counter Terrorism Awareness Advisor delivering a range of Counter Terrorism awareness modules over two hours.

Trustee Responsibilities & Code of Conduct
Monday 12th November 4.30pm – 7pm @ Naylor Leyland Centre, Well Street, Ruthin, LL15 1AF
The session will focus on two main areas:
An overview of Trustee's responsibilities and a detailed look at the current charity commission guidance.
A review of the new Charitie's Governance Code and how it applies to smaller charities.

Autism Awareness Taster Sessions
Wednesday 28th November 10am - 12pm @ Naylor Leyland Centre, Well Street, Ruthin, LL15 1AF
This training is available free of charge to parents, family members, carers, volunteers, members of the public, voluntary and community groups and DVSC members, and is on a first come first serve basis.
