Pop-up for I CAN Centres

On the 4th June we took our pop-up hub along to the Co-Operative supermarket in Bodelwyddan to help I CAN promote their volunteering opportunities at Glan Clwyd Hospital based in Bodelwyddan.

I CAN Centres provide an alternative to formal hospital-based assessment and care for people experiencing low level social and mental health difficulties outside of usual working hours.

I CAN Centres are open every evening between the hours of 7pm-2am. This public engagement proved quite successful. 7 community members enquired about volunteering roles and were given the relevant information and we signed up one local person to become an I CAN volunteer.
