Volunteer Story (5) - Samantha

Denbigh HWB: I first came along to support my daughter as she didn’t want to come by herself, I’ve really seen her growing in confidence since she’s been coming. Everyone is made welcome and it’s a great chance to meet other people while the kids are playing. I help run the club now which I enjoy, we’ve put on parties for Halloween and Christmas which have been really well attended.

There is plenty going on and people can just pop in at any time to find out more. By coming to the Hwb I’ve been able to do courses myself such as Family Learning, Sewing and Teaching Assistants so its helped me as well
