Carers Wales Volunteers

Carers Wales are looking for various volunteers in Denbighshire. Their volunteers use their expert caring knowledge to reach out and help other carers in their own local communities.  They help carers access information & support and speak up to help improve local services.

Carers Wales are currently looking for volunteers in the following roles:

Local Awareness Volunteers - You’ll make contact with community hubs in your area and arrange to put up posters or leave information leaflets in libraries, GP surgeries, faith groups or gyms. You’ll support information stands at community events, hospitals, supermarkets, anywhere you think we might find carers. You'll identify smaller local charities that support people with long term conditions and supply them with Carers Wales publicity materials.

Events & Admin Support - This role involves researching carers groups and carers support by geographical area to build a portfolio of contacts. Researching community events and opportunities to reach more carers. Liaising with organisers and booking events on behalf of our outreach volunteers to promote carer services. Liaising with other volunteers to support their activities.
